Shaping the Future of Legal Professionals through Mentoring.
The Utah State Bar's New Lawyer Training Program (NLTP) is designed to assist new lawyers during the crucial transition from being a law student and the practicalities of being a lawyer. The program teaches new attorneys to develop the habits, practical skills, and judgment necessary to the effective practice of law. In addition, and perhaps more importantly, the NLTP aims to provide new attorneys with a more thorough understanding of the lawyer's duties of professionalism and civility, and that meeting those burdens will be paramount in their pursuit of a long and fulfilling career in the law.
