The next session of the NLTP will start on January 1, 2027. Registration for that session will open in late November 2026. New attorneys who will be sworn in to the Utah State during the October 2026 licensing motion should plan to start the NLTP during the January 2027 session. New attorneys will receive an email in the coming weeks about the NLTP and its related policies and expectations. The nature of legal practice and the Utah legal market has changed drastically since the NLTP began in 2009. The program needs to change to meet our new realities. Thank you for your patience as we make significant overhauls to help modernize the NLTP.
